another local fav, pan mee aka flat noodles. its just dough that they flatten out and cut into strips.
its cooked in a broth and served with a veg, egg, minced pork, and fried anchovies. eat with a spicy lime-chili mix.
the stalls here are set up haphazardly at the road side next to drains. the philosophy is that the dirtier the stalls are, the better the food, coz the chef concentrates on cooking, and not on cleaning up. thus, the food tastes good. the zooming past cars add some delicious dust to the meals.
as an appetizer, hot black glutinous rice with coconut milk
the main dish
the awesome chili. just looking at it makes my mouth water.
