Inland Taipan, the most poisonous snake in the world, found in Australia. There was a friendly guide there and she asked me if I knew much about snakes as I was busy snapping. Then she pointed to this one and asked me to take a pic as the snake is pretty reclusive and normally hides behind rocks.

this one is interesting, its a sensitive plate that picks up the latent background radioactivity in the earth. The white streaks are the radioactivity. Mesmerizing to watch.
Back to the fun live stuff. Sole fish that is good at camouflage.
Theres also a large 'outdoor' area
fire belly toad. Most poisonous in Sweden and has a call that sounds like church bells.

this one is great: leafcutter ants.

poisonous frogs. theres a green one but it only comes out in the night, so says the guide.

they have a very well stocked shop too. and I was tempted to buy a fuzzy ball, but the thought of carrying it throughout the whole day wrecked my shopping intentions.
