i just realized that i am posting in no order whatsoever. anyway, before kiruna, i was in abisko, with is like 50km more north than kiruna, which is about 140km ABOVE the arctic circle.
stayed in a youth hostel very near the train station Abisko Östra.

the kitchen with its flimsy chairs


thick jackets and heavy boots you can use as you wish


outside on the walls are snowshoes, skis and poles you can use


while we were there there were french, japanese, singaporeans, italians, chinese, dutch, koreans, and swedes.
