took a day trip to belgium while i was in holland last week, we went to atomium, a huge molecule of iron, built for the 1958 expo. it was supposed to be temporary but the tourists love it so much they made it permanent.
small only mah.
taking the lift from the bottom atom to the top atom
the view from the top
i look down on others
theres a restaurant at the topmost level. a whole new meaning to high tea.
you can really see the dome architecture
stairs or escalators to connect the different atoms.
fun facts
the connecting tubes have lots of round windows you can peer out from and see other atoms. cool
some kids thing, cute round stuff with a mattress inside each one.
thats my reflection on one of the balls.
then took a train to brussels, the capital of belgium. this is the famous grand place.
