supposedly the last weekend of summer, i got some time out in the sun at the island Djurgården, which used to be the royal hunting and riding grounds for the royal family. even today, you can see the royal family riding around sometimes.
theres an ecological center in the middle of the island, with a cafe and lots of cultivated fruits and vegetables, the greens on the plates come from their own garden. This is salmon and potatoes in a thick gravy with vine leaves.
an apple tree that fell over but got propped up by a brick, its still alive and a few kids tried to climb it while we were there.

there were also some displays in greenhouses, there were lots of pumpkins, and a display showing the different types of apples and pears found in the park.
part of the archipelago, the water is semi salty, not that i've tasted it before.
supposedly this is a great place to bring your dog out for a swim. There's free water for the dog while the owner buys his coke.

the swedish company, pirate bay was fined many million crowns for alowing people to download movies, software and other stuff online. they just told us where the files are located and not storing those copyrighted material on their own computers. It was great while it lasted.
