before heading to the depths of themines in kiruna, we took lunch upstairs of the tourist office.
surprisingly, one of the staff is asian, looks thai or vietnamese.
and it shows in their soup. which is tom yam like. still, it was lovely to have it in the arctic circle.
the salad bar comes paid for with the main meal
lingonberry jam with mashed potatoes and reindeer
pita bread with reindeer. tastes like beef, with less smell.
nearby was some door made by a famous Sami aboriginal person. supposed to have some meaning, but i couldnt understand the words. it looks nice nonetheless.
