While back in Singapore last month, i had the opportunity to sneak into Keppel Island, the republic's newest island, just a few hundred stones throw from Vivocity. It was a very hot and humid night, so I was sweating like a pig (if pigs do sweat), but the lights were quite good. Only regret was not having a tripod with me.
The bridge to the island
We passed the Star Cruises dock on the way
The bridge connecting big island to small island. It has lights that change colour every few minutes or so
We saw soem boats on display ungarded.
Very difficult night view to photograph as I was tripod-less
The yacht club
Very interesting architecture
Water feature next to the restaurant, which is weird since its an island and is 10 feet from the sea.
The restaurant.
The back of that dome roof thing. Tehre's the cross mast right above, like a ship. I think the dome is supposed to be like a sail bloated with a full gust of wind.
Another time waster. Took super long to get this shot right.
Going back to firmer ground. No cabs seem to enter this place. Sigh. Another long walk.
