went to some deserted place in some island in stockholm for my department's annual christmas dinner. this year round, its an indoor boules building. normally this is played outdoors in summer.

traditional christmas buffet in sweden, which actually contains the same food that you would find in a traditional swedish easter buffet, which coincidentally is also the same stuff you find on midsummer nights buffet.

herring in chilli, mustart or just preserved like that.
prawns
salmon roe on eggs
salmon with lemon
smoked salmon with dill
salmon 'paste' like thing with some veg
potatoes boilled
potato sliced in cream
beetroot
salted baked meat

the game was more interesting. dont want to go through the instructions but you basically throw these metal balls and you try to get as many as your teams balls as close to the tiny red 'cork' ball as possible.

to differentiate between balls from both teams, one team has stripped balls, the other has smooth balls

not cheap

i wonder if the greenish thing is the northern lights but covered by clouds
