Dick Bruna, the creator of Miffy the delectable rabbit is a resident of Utrecht and so I paid the museum a visit. quite educational, the way he works and what works his way. he's super old school, using pencils and brush, and the main covers or posters are created with transparencies and colour paper. its a wonder that such people can still survive in this digital age.
the bear he is famous for, because he uses handbrush, the edges are 'ruffled' giving the bear a more lifelike, real feel.
